The Half Rats – For the Sake of Love 7” (DMR 038)
Sans objectivity, I must freely admit that I fucking love this record! TJ lives in Chicago and plays in CoCoComa. The other dudes are somewhere in Indiana. The Half Rats are sort of Doo-wopish on a poor man’s recording budget. It’s catchy as hell but not overly joyful or silly. An undeniable sixties vibe and great vocal hooks. Edition of 600.
